What do I do if I am going to miss / cannot attend an event?

If the event is not mandatory, you don’t have to do anything. If it is a mandatory event, you must submit proof of an approved excuse here. If you don't know what is / isn't mandatory, check the president's slides in the minutes. They are emailed to you after every chapter.

What is an approved excuse?

Exams the following day, PAL and study sessions hosted during Chapter, work, sickness, pre-planned trips / events booked at least a month in advance, funeral or similar unforeseen circumstance. You must have proof such as a work schedule, doctors note, etc.

What happens if I miss a mandatory event?

If you submit an excuse 24 hours in advance, you don’t have to do anything. If you don’t send an excuse, you will be docked hours depending on the event. This means that you will need to get additional hours to reach the hours requirement.

Where can I find the Zoom link for chapter or an event?

Check the Google Calendar or the Zoom information spreadsheet in the archive. A link to the archive can be found in the minutes on the historian's slide.

Where is the Google calendar?

Check the president's, vice president's, or another member of e-board's slide on the minutes. If you can't find it you can message the historian on GroupMe.
